Let the countdown begin!  TEN MORE DAYS until the North American Taiko Conference officially takes off with the Opening Ceremony!

– Workshops have been assigned!! To check, please log in to your account.

If you would like to request a change to your workshop schedule, you may do so at the following times:

Thursday, August 6, 5:00pm-6:00pm.

Friday, August 7, 8:00am-9:00am

 

– Volunteer assignments will be emailed soon!  Thank you for signing up!!

– Get your Taiko Jam 09 tickets! The four groups (Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko, Kishin Daiko, On Ensemble, and Portland Taiko) have been rehearsing hard for the show, so “DON” miss out! You can get more info and tickets by visiting the Taiko Jam page!!

Fun Fact:  Close to 150 attendees will be experiencing the North American Taiko Conference for the first time this year!!

Workshop Schedule Changes and Other Updates!

Some of the workshops have changed times! Please take a look:

#11 Lance Acker, Fue 101-Fun with Fue Fundamentals has moved to Workshop Session 2 - Sat, 8/8/09, 9:00am.

#10 Ringtaro Tateishi, Essential 7 Sound for Chappa has moved to Workshop Session 3 - Sat, 8/8/09, 3:00pm.


Please login to your Taiko Conference account and update your workshop preferences before Sunday, July 5, 2009.

We still need volunteers!  Please check out the volunteers page to see all the different ways you can help!

You can also become a part of the Drummer’s Circle! Deadline is July 1st!

  • Registration for the 2009 North American Taiko Conference is now available!  Register now.  Workshops will be available shortly.
  • Taiko Jam 2009 groups have been selected.  Checkout the Taiko Jam page!
  • The Conference Program has been finalized and released.
  • Thank you to all that have applied for participation in the 2009 Summer Taiko Institute! Replies will be sent before April 24.

We are now accepting Workshop Proposals for the 2009 North American Taiko Conference. If you are interested in presenting a workshop, please completely fill out the webform and submit. We are asking for all Workshop Proposals be submitted by Friday, February. 13, 2009.
